Officer Roles and Responsibilities

As an Officer of PLCDC, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management and operations of our organization. You will be responsible for executing the strategies and policies set by the Board of Directors, ensuring smooth and effective operations, and providing operational leadership. Our Officers report directly to the Board and provide updates on the organization's performance, challenges, and opportunities.

We are looking to fill the following key positions:

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/Executive Director

Term: 3 years

  • Lead the organization

  • Implement Board decisions

  • Manage staff and oversee daily operations

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/Treasurer

  • Manage the organization’s finances

  • Oversee budgeting and financial reporting

Term: 3 years

Secretary

Term: 3 years

  • Maintain organizational records

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements

  • Handle official correspondence

Qualifications

  • A strong commitment to the mission and vision of PLCDCmunity

  • Experience in governance, policy setting, or financial oversight is a plus

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team setting

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • A desire to make a positive impact in the community
